Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak stresses responsibility of deputy factions’ leaders for the search of the ways to settle the political crisis in the state.
During consultations of the deputy faction leaders that last for the past two days, the Parties managed to reach a compromise on a number of important issues.
Thereat, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada drew attention to the fact that there still remains a complicated issue of pardoning participants of protest actions. On adjourning the yesterday meeting of extraordinary session of the Verkhovna Rada of the seventh convocation, he noted that the opposition and the majority have reached certain understanding, however, there are still several issues that need to be addressed.
In the course of negotiations, the Chairman of the Parliament claimed that ultimatums and political ambitions are absolutely inadmissible. All the Parties should demonstrate political flexibility in to order to reach peace and calm in the state. At the same time, Volodymyr Rybak emphasized that the authority that shown a constructive stand, readiness to dialogue and the ability to make concessions.
Volodymyr Rybak once again underlined that strict adherence to constitutional duties by the deputies is a guarantee of handling the situation in the country.
